Colours of Expression

Wandering into an abyss  So empty and dark, Shadows go invisible  Every step leaves a mark In the heart, On the mind, Making the vision A little blind. Words unspoken Or those spoken... Haven't ever been So loud and clear; And into a million tiny, Tiny decibels, broken. Syllables, each one Equally brutal Shattered, like a piece Of a broken mirror glass Piercing the soul; Wounding it, Breaking what was Once whole. Like glistening raindrops On a lifeless rock The sanctity of tears And pleas for forgiveness Fall on deaf ears. Moments of countless fears Now all realized Exactly the way I'd imagined it to be, not. Turn back time Give me - What was lost What was once dear One chance To set it all right And hand over a token A promise Of love, loyalty, trust, and friendship... The way t'was before It'd broken!

With You is where my world begins; It makes me happy, a day like that... Where - You are my sunrise, Spreading hope in my gloomy skies. You are my sunset, The past, making me forget. You are my rainbow, Bringing a smile to my lips, ergo. You are my shooting star, The one you make a wish on, gazing from afar. You're the one... That makes my heart skip a beat... You, simply are - The One! Why does it have to be like this - Where You and I exist In what seems like parallel universes?! And all I get when I look up at the sky Are points of hope and reason, And coded meanings With shades and hues Of grays and orange and blues! You are my muse, my inspiration, For all things poetic. You are my rock, When strong winds, they mock. You're that fluffy little cloud, When the sun seems too loud. You are Sirius, In my darkest of nights. You're the one... That makes my heart swell with emotion... You, simply are - The One! This distance between us.....

The depth of the ocean entices me Secrets hidden deep within The mystery charms my mind slyly And drives me to horizons new therein It's a place I've never been to before Doubtful of whether I'd like the show I give it a try without a care in the world, ergo Silently... In the shimmering moon's glow!        Oh come into my wonderland,        And find the pleasure you seek        I promise I'll do as you command        I'll be gentle, I'll be meek        You stir up a whirlpool of emotions within me        Those which I hath long forgone        Come, ride the tide, on the waves, steady and slow Happily... in the shimmering moon's glow!There's so much more to this than I'd imagined So much more than I'd asked for It's gonna be tough to emerge without being dampened To hold my dignity, values and everything else that I've always stood for ...
