Colours of Expression

Imagining life without colour was practically impossible for me...!!! Colour was such an inseparable part of my life !!! Life seems so much better with all its different hues and shades trying to create harmony and balance within each other's existence. As much as this sounds crazy, I've realized that the basic shades of colour i.e. black and white could equally be as much interesting as colours. In fact, I would call it a far more balanced phenomenon than colour. Lesser the dimensions and scope, lesser are the complexities involved.

Most of us live our life in colour these days. Our expressions depict various hues and shades through a single day. Anger, jealousy, hatred, happiness, sorrow, frustration, excitement are just some of them. Knowingly or unknowingly, at times, we trade these colours with the virtue of our soul. I'm not debating the fact if this is right or wrong, its just that when you compare a similar scenario with basic shades like black and white, you will probably realize that there are only three colors that you can choose from - black, white & grey. It gives you such a clear picture of values, ethics and principles in life; a lot of which cannot be seen today. It leaves no scope for anyone to trade any color with the virtue of your own soul.
Today we have progressed to the extent where a lot of emphasis is laid on technology & digitization. A majority part of our lives has become highly mechanized and emotionless and we really do not get the time to sit down and ponder over the thought whether our actions and thoughts are flowing onto the same track or whether our practices are morally justified. The moment you begin thinking on these lines you will realize how big is the "colourful" picture I'm talking about...!!! And how limitless are its horizons !!!
Happy are those who do not have a life of colour but instead believe in living life with the very basic shades of black and white. They are best seen in the faces of little children and the poor. They have no worries and live their life to the fullest as every moment passes by. Each expression depicted on their face is in the purest form that mankind will ever be able to emote.
This sure leaves a lot for us people to learn...
