Together Forever?! : Finding Love & Salvation

Introduction This is my third story in the series – Together Forever?! Love, Betrayal, Hate and everything in between! - A collection of real-life stories This story is one of sacrifice and love and salvation. Some might find it intriguing and some might sympathize, some might question the behavior and some might think it completely stupid… Whatever your final opinion is, save it for the end, because this is how it goes… Finding Love And Salvation This is a story about a boy - Theodore and a girl – Sophie. Sophie was the prettiest girl in the neighborhood and too many boys harbored a secret wish of taking her out on a date, but none actually did that. The reason was the umpteen guys she had turned down before. People were beginning to think of her as a little proud and egoistic. Theodore was one among the few who had garnered enough of courage to go speak to Sophie. To everyone’s surprise, it didn’t turn out all that bad. It was quite good actually! From there began their a...

Together Forever?! : "Destiny's Puppets"

Introduction This is my second story in the series – Together Forever?! Love, Betrayal, Hate and everything in between! After sharing a story that has a “feel-good” factor, it’s time to face up to the realities of life that would make one question some widely prevalent societal norms. The second story in the series, this one doesn’t paint a pretty picture. It offers a glimpse into “an arranged marriage gone wrong” situation.  Destiny's Puppets Prelude:  Ben, a well-settled guy in his late 20’s, an engineer by profession with a stable job abroad was on the lookout for a decent well-educated girl to spend the rest of his life with. He had two siblings, a younger brother, and sister. His brother also held a job abroad and would visit home once a year. His sister, a pretty young thing, worked as an air-hostess on international flights. Ben’s father had been paralyzed and bedridden. His mother, a hardworking and dedicated lady, took very good care of him and did eve...

Together Forever?! : "Made For Each Other"

Introduction My first story is equivalent of a fairytale of the modern times. There's a prince charming and a damsel in distress but no white horse and certainly no armies of iron-clad men! This story is my favorite one of the entire lot. Read on to know more...  Made For Each Other Saahil and Priya studied in the same school. Priya was a year junior to Saahil and had a major crush on him since 6th grade. While most people would term it as a side-effect of raging hormones, this one was different. Saahil wasn’t exactly attracted to Priya and the gentleman that he was he didn’t want to disappoint her. So, he chose the harmless option of being “just friends”. Saahil never gave much of a thought to what he’d said but for Priya, it meant the whole world. Years rolled by. Saahil and Priya would talk for hours on the phone, meet up whenever possible and shared every single moment of happiness and sorrow with each other… all of it, being “just friends”! Priya was in 10th g...

Together Forever?! Love, Betrayal, Hate, Jealousy and everything in between!

PREFACE This is a collection of real-life stories that have tugged at my heartstrings. Some I’ve known first-hand and some I’ve got to know through my friends and acquaintances. As you read through these stories, you’ll see how sometimes unexpected and expected situations can turn your whole life around; in a good way or at times worse than anything expected. For the sake of maintaining anonymity, names of all people involved have been changed and certain situations have been given a touch of my own imagination. If you happen to know whose story it is, it’s my humble request to not mention any names here. And if it’s your own story that you’re reading here and do not wish for it to be on display anymore, drop me a message and I’ll take it off. For the rest of the crowd, after reading this, if you have your own little story to contribute, feel free. Any other comments, opinions are most welcome. Lastly, before I begin with the stories I put forth my Disclaimer – “All cha...
